It has been said that method acting can permanently alter the mind of the actor like marijuana and heroin do to the drug taker. For Mario it is unclear whether his overuse of hat swapping has caused permanent damage to his personality. Many are led to believe this is the case. Reports have come forward of Mario gallivanting the Mushroom Kingdom dressed in nothing but a Fire Flower like daisy chain around his waist, slightly covering his indecency. While in this getup Toadstool folk have been running in terror for Mario is now known to jump on their heads while claiming to be a ferocious T-Rex. This type of behavior has been witnessed to conclude with Mario running headfirst at full pace toward the castle wall yelling, “Imma Bullet Bill!”
Castle guards have often had to rush Mario to the emergency wing of Peach’s Castle after these fits of insanity once noticing his life bar had dropped down into the red zone. Citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom are concerned that Mario has had a loss of identity since the release of his latest game Super Mario Odyssey.
“He put his heart and soul into that role. Learning how to become a T-Rex takes its toll on an actors mind. His constantly changing roleplay is only getting him into trouble these days. Manically thinking he is Bowser for instance has landed him several times in the castle dungeon after abducting the Princess and now his restraining order prevents him entering the grounds.”
Many have seen Mario this past week standing still dressed as a Toadstool person in a pathetic effort to earn money on the street corner with his still life performance.
Sad times indeed for Mario and his mystery condition. Investigative journalists here at Nothing New Under the Porch are looking into the link of Charles Martinet parting ways with his career of voicing Mario and this sending Mario into his identity crisis. Stay tuned as this story develops.
