Eavesdropping AI Bans MWIII Player for Denigrating Himself in Voice Chat

Experts behind the scenes at Activision have combined their brain power together to come up with the idea of an AI-powered program to combat toxic behavior in voice chat. High fives were given all around the office as another monotonous job that someone could be paid to do was handballed off for some AI technology to handle.

Players of Call of Duty have met the change with resounding praise as they are mostly surrounded by devices in their homes that listen to all their conversations anyway.

“I’m happy about it and I don’t know why people would complain.” Says eager conformist and Call of Duty player John Smithington.

“If anything it has been good for me to be able to get my language and behavior right in order to be able to fit the bill that society is shaping me to be a part of.”

Unfortunately for players like Mr Smithington they lack self-confidence and will berate themselves for the stupid mistakes made in game. One such instance involved Mr Smithington throwing a grenade and having it accidentally bounce off a teammate as they passed his crosshairs unexpectedly. Mr Smithington then copped the full explosion and killed himself. In voice chat he exclaimed to his buddies what an idiot he was for killing himself. To his surprise and disgust the game exited the match and issued him with a warning that he had been kicked from the server for toxic and abusive behavior.

It is because of toxic people like John Smithington that AI needs to step in and take charge. What could go wrong?
