In a baked bean cocktail of late night document signing and translation issues Nintendo has put pen to paper and signed off on the purchase of tinned food company Heinz. A move that has left others in the acquisition battle puzzled and laughing. As far as deals go though it was an absolute bargain and Heinz have somehow come off the winner even if they were purchased. Details of the agreement state that Heinz will have their products included in future Nintendo titles, starting with baked beans being a new power up for Mario that gives him a mid-air fart jump for extra oomph. A new range of tinned spaghetti will also hit supermarket shelves too, well, kind of. If the right letters in a tin of Alphabet Spaghetti are found then you could spell Nintendo. As far as new games being made by Heinz for Nintendo go there will be none, Heinz basically took advantage of Nintendo. A Heinz representative dressed up as Geralt from The Witcher series and pretended to be from CD Projekt RED. A poorly translated deal was then dropped in the lap of Nintendo Japan and Shigeru Miyamoto even used the opportunity to get a selfie with Geralt.
Sony and Microsoft have not responded with any food company buying retaliatory actions.
