Xbox And Playstation Exchange Gifts In Passive Aggressive Show Of Reconciliation

Things haven’t been the same between Sony and Microsoft since the ABK acquisition. You could say Sony weren’t invited to the party and obviously didn’t get any of the cake. Until now. In all their glory and success Xbox have decided to hand over one of their recent crown jewels to Playstation. Not an ABK game but something better. Phil Spencer had this to say on the generous offering.

“Starfield is being released from its cage, it’s a turkey and it needs to spread its wings to be given a new chance to entertain people elsewhere.” Phil is right, no turkey should be captive unless its headless, stuffed and jammed in an oven. The Playstation big wigs however were not pleased at this attempt at Microsoft washing their hands of the blood which was spilled in the acquisition war. Playstation accepted Starfield and it peaked with 20 players in its first week, as expected, with an average player play time of 5 hours. To not be outdone Playstation offered up one of its own gems back to Microsoft to show the same mutual good will. Rumours were buzzing around the office as to what Playstation would send in response.

A day later Phil Spencer had one of the lackeys open the anticipated package from Playstation with an extra ‘xoxo’ on its rear for good measure. The lackey tore it open and he died from shock upon reading the cover. An explosives squad were immediately called in to discard the bomb and the game Knack was removed and destroyed.

At the lackey’s funeral, the lackey’s name still eluded Phil Spencer, Phil tearfully spoke and said, “Yep we deserved all they threw at us.”
